Former Army of Tennessee Relics, this witness wood measures approximately 10" in length and exhibits a 1" canister ball. The wood was cut from a larger tree and lacquered, most likely during the reunion era. The canister ball is crudely cast and is possibly Confederate. This relic is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Army of Tennessee Relics and states that it is "almost certainly from the Sept. 1863 Chickamauga GA. Battlefield." CONDITION: Good.
