Made from 1888-1911. Barrel legend reads "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION NY". Nickel finish with checkered gutta percha grips. This is a very early type II. CONDITION. Excellent. The frame retains approximately 30% nickel with balance a smooth grey-brown patina. The barrel retains 85% nickel with some strong blue on screw and take down lever. Checkering on grips has worn almost smooth. Rifling is defined but has abrasions.
