Manufactured in 1917. Standard carbine features a blue finish, full tube magazine, post front sight with replaced blade, ladder rear sight, saddle ring and stud, gumwood stocks. CONDITION: Excellent. The receiver retains 95% plus blue with scattered handling marks and light freckling, mostly on right side. Barrel and tube retain 98% blue with light muzzle and handling wear. Bands retain majority of blue. Sharp Winchester legend on left side of barrel. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with a few impressions. Bore is strong and clean. Far better than usually seen.
