Manufactured in 1909. Standard carbine with blue finish, full tube magazine, post front sight, rear slot filler, tang sight, saddle ring and stud, walnut stocks, steel carbine butt plate. CONDITION: Fine. The receiver retains approximately 80% blue with all carry points turned patina, high edge wear and scattered freckling. Barrel and tube retain 90% blue with blending patina, especially near breech. Sharp Winchester two line legend on top of barrel. Original stocks are proud to metal with most of the finish and scattered dings and bruises. There is a small hairline at tip of forearm. Bore has strong defined rifling. Winchester classic in scarce caliber.
