Manufactured in 1907. Standard carbine features blue finish, full tube magazine, post front sight, ladder rear sight, saddle ring and stud, walnut stock with steel carbine butt plate with matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Receiver retains about 60% blue with balance a grey patina. Loading gate shows 80% nitre blue with bolt about 50%. Barrel and tube retain approximately 90% with some thinning, couple of rubs and some handling. Interesting that the PW proof is ahead of the rear sight. Strong Winchester legends on top of barrel. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with scattered dings and bruises with some minor chipping at butt. Bore is bright. Sharp little carbine with great bore.
