Hand painted plate signed by renowned China decorator Rudolph Lux of New Orleans, dated at bottom "July 21, 1861". General Pierre Gustave Toutant-Beauregard is shown in his Louisiana state uniform which he wore early in the Civil War. The plate has an 8" diameter. Excellent colors with a few areas of wear. There is sticky residue on reverse from a previous tag. CONDITION: Very good.
