Cut down M1795 U.S. martial musket with "1815" marked lock plate. Barrel and stock shaved, shortened, and butt plate removed as typically seen in Native American altered guns. Rows of brass tacks added to remnants of forend and near the butt. Original flint mechanism has been converted in an interesting manner that retains the original hammer but allows percussion caps to be fired. CONDITION: Good as altered.
