This is a first year pre series number Olympic target pistol in the Supermatic series and was manufactured in 1950 at the end of the G series. It is a large frame hammerless model with an adjustable rear sight, blue finish, deluxe checkered walnut stocks, made in New Haven and comes with the unusual blue magazine made for the .22 Short. The original un-numbered one piece hinged box has the correct end label, original receipts dating September 5, 1950, purchase permit, instructions and test fired casing. CONDITION: Excellent. Shows as near new with a couple of light rubs / handling marks. Bore is bright. A rare opportunity to acquire one of the earliest of all the Hi Standard target series with condition.
