Cutlery handled English Bowie knife with acid etched panel. Knife has a 8 - 3/4" clip point, with etched panel that reads: "TEXAS RANGER". Maker stamped on the ricasso in a small rectangle: "S. G. Wragg 25 Furnancehill Sheffield". German silver cutlery handle with pressed eagle and shield with floral designs. Embossed leather sheath with German silver tip and throat. A similar knife can be found on pg. 415 of 'The Bowie Knife' by Norm Flayderman. CONDITION: Very good.
