Typical Pacific Theater GI gun that was blued and fitted with Asian style dragon carved ivory grips. This gun was manufactured in 1918 by Colt and was rebuilt with an Ithaca slide for WWII or Korea. Features the long 1918 style trigger, flat mainspring housing, lanyard loop, checkered wide spur hammer, slide stop, safety, and an intertwined HP marked World War I barrel. This gun was then completely reblued and grips fitted. The magazine is blue. Trigger has been polished bright. CONDITION: Fine. Retains majority of the reapplied high polish blue that retains strong legends, muzzle wear and handling marks. Grips are carved on both panels. Bore is strong but lightly frosted.
