Manufactured in 1901. This is a standard early carbine in all respects. Features the full tube magazine, German silver blade post front sight, express rear sight missing one blade, saddle ring and stud, blue finish, walnut stock with carbine butt plate and matching forearm. Strong Winchester two line barrel address at top. CONDITION: Very good. The barrel and tube show some remnants of blue, mostly grey patina with overall age freckling. The frame shows some flashes as well with balance a brown patina. Stock is very good with scattered dings and impressions. Forearm is in similar condition. Bore is defined with overall abrasions.
