Circa 1880-1900 large Bowie style knife with clip point blade. Most likely made for the South American market. Retains original Moroccan leather sheath with German silver tip and filigree throat. Blade exhibits partial fuller with silver cross guard with ball finials. Maker stamped to left side of blade: 'BENNETT.BROTHERTON & Co / CAST STEEL'. Handles of slab horn held in place by three pins. CONDITION: Very good.
