Manufactured in 1857. Barrel has the two line New York address with Colt patent stamp on left side of frame. Cylinder has the stagecoach roll die stamp. Features full nickel plating, brass straps, octagon barrel and one piece walnut grips. All matching numbers with replaced wedge. The aftermarket finish appears to be of the period. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains at least 80% nickel with average scattered flaking. Grips are fine. Cylinder scene is about 50% visible. Cylinder does not index. Bore shows black powder abrasion.
