Lot consists of: (A) Dress dagger that was approved for wear by officers of the Chinese National Revolutionary Army at the time of the Sino-Japanese war of 1937-1945. These officer's daggers were both finely and crudely made, with a great deal of variation apparent among surviving examples. This example is quite crude. There is patina throughout. Thin brass side plates on the side of the handle exhibit gaps, but the dagger remains intact despite its cheap construction. CONDITION: Good. (B) Chinese D-guard bowie with eagle head pommel in leather scabbard. CONDITION: Very good.
