Circa 1943 per serial number. Serrated slope front sight, square notch flat top rear sight with "P" ahead of rear sight. Left side with Remington Rand rollmark. Barrel with "P" on left lug and "F" on right. FJA proof under slide release for Atwood, and "P" under magazine release. Small parts comprise narrow checkered hammer, thick tab safety, serrated slide release, checkered magazine release, short stamped trigger, long A1 grip safety, and arched serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Grips are Keyes fibre grips with thin rings. Blued magazine with "L" on baseplate lip for Little manufacture. CONDITION: Very good, retaining approximately half of the period, probably arsenal, reapplied parkerization, with heavy silvering to sharp edges consistent with holster wear. Some scattered handling marks and scattered scratches. Legends are legible throughout, grips are very good. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with some very mild frosting and firing residue. An honest, hard used example of a wartime pistol.
