Manufactured in German occupied Czechoslovakia, this essentially a Czech vz. 24 rifle produced for German use. This example was manufactured in 1942 with "dou / 42" receiver code. Features include arsenal blued finish. protected blade front sight, tangent rear, and eagle over "H" Heer acceptance marked red glue laminate stock with cupped butt plate. Mixed numbers. Bolt appears to be from another vz. 24 contract. No visible import markings. Complete with period leather sling. CONDITION: Good. Significant portions or arsenal blue are retained with areas of fading and wear. Stock has been cleaned with light impressions throughout. Stampings are faint. Dark abraded bore with visible rifling. Fine mechanics.
