Remington barrel is dated 9-43 with bomb. Left side of stock has the boxed FJA cartouche for Frank Atwood, along with ordnance wheel, RA, and proof P at base of wrist. Standard WWII configuration. CONDITION: Excellent, with almost all of the original finish remaining. Stock is excellent with no major signs of distress and crisp markings. Bore is two groove and mirror bright, possibly unfired. An outstanding example that would be very difficult to improve upon.
