Lot consists of: (A) Framed cabinet card with profile view of General Philip Sheridan and signed "P.H. Sheridan". Toning with light stains and legible writing. Under glass contained in a gilt frame. CONDITION: Good. (B) April 19th, 1861 letter with "State of Connecticut" letterhead. The letter was recorded by Governor William Buckingham and he writes and requests Sharps Rifles "for the use of the state". Signed at bottom "Wm A. Buckingham". Toning with visible folds and light stains. CONDITION: Good. (B) Large album containing Civil War patriotic envelopes, postcards, and other ephemera. There are 100+ pages and most pages are completely full. Most exhibit typical war but display good graphics. CONDITION: Good.
