Overall length: 7”. Barrel length: 3”. English made muff pistol imported by Spang and Wallace, Philadelphia and marked so on barrel. Fold out trigger. This pistol was featured in an article entitled “Signed by the Maker” by Stuart C. Mowbray in Volume 24 #1 of "Man at Arms" magazine in February 2002. Samuel Spang is listed on 3rd Street in 1859-1866 and Wallace is listed at the same address in 1855. Excellent condition.
