Overall length: 16”. Barrel length: 10”. Philadelphia pistol with checkered wrist. Percussion engraved unmarked lock with full octagon barrel marked in script “Lechler Philada”. Horn nose cap and horn end on ramrod. Fancy iron trigger guard. Jacob Lechler, 1830-1831, worked at Lilly Alley in Philadelphia. This is one of the two pistols known to have survived. Marked “J. Lechler Phila.” on the barrel. Good condition with some remaining barrel blue.
