Overall length: 11”. Barrel length: 6”. Philadelphia pistol with silver mountings, a percussion lock marked “Constable”, checkered wrist and octagon barrel marked “Philadelphia” with English proofs under barrel. Richard Constable, successor to William Booth, imported flintlock and percussion pistols of all types, circa 1819-1851. European pistols so marked are quite rare. Very good condition.
