Made by Remington for the British military during World War I. "ERA" stamp on receiver. The right side of stock is stamped "IE" in circle. Also stamped "Patt- '14" and "EY" along with British proof marks on left side of frame. Left side of forearm has the volley sight and right side of stock has the unmarked brass disc. Comes with a sling with brass frog and a Remington 1913 bayonet with canvas frog and leather scabbard. CONDITION: Excellent. These rifles, used by the United Kingdom, are very difficult to find, and this example is in very nice condition, retaining the majority of blue finish and minor handling marks with some high edge wear, nominal scattered abrasions on stock, and a sharp bore.
