Manufactured in Imperial Russia in 1916 and captured during WWI. Rifle remains in M91 configuration with arsenal reapplied dull blued finish, bayonet lug blade front sight, early style rear, and birch finger groove stocks. Peter the Great eagle has been marked out with punch dots during the refurb. Right stock stamped with a pine cone, indicating rework by Bulgaria. Import marked on barrel. Includes later surplus web sling and a 91/30 style cruciform bayonet. CONDITION: Good. Well defined bore with some darkness.
