Overall length: 40 – ¼”. Barrel length: 29 – ¾”. Robertson Phila. Half stock rifle with .38 caliber barrel which is turned at muzzle for bullet starter. Signed on both lock and barrel. Iron mounted with elaborate engraved cap box, trigger guard, toe plate, and barrel tang. Checkered wrist. William Robertson’s shop was next door to the John Krider gun shop, 1929-1955. Robertson was quite famous for his high quality dueling pistols. Exceptional quality as well as excellent original condition. Highly figured walnut stock. Fine patina to iron parts. Excellent condition (crisp surfaces).
