Rare. Marked "Salem Witch, 1692". Circa early 1900's. Designed and signed by Sarah W. Symonds. Her work included doorstops, doorknockers and bookends, plus custom orders.

CORRECTION – Signed by Sarah W. Symonds. Circa 1898 to 1905. This was when Sarah made 'people' door stops. When her 'houses/buildings' took off and starting selling in 1905 is when she created a little assembly line and from then on houses and alike became the core of her business. This business by then was turning into more of a mass production outfit, but the early ones were painted by her.
