Handmade percussion lock with some engraving at thin tapered tail and features double set triggers. Full figured tiger maple stock with typical Jonathon Dunmeyer architecture and incised floral carving. Brass hardware with engraved patchbox with 4 piercings. Complete with slightly short hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall good with barrel having a brown patina, heavy corrosion at breech. Lock has some heavy pitting in center and functions well. Brass has a dark mustard patina. Stock shows marks from use and a repaired break stemming from front lock tang. A nice looking rifle.
