These over the top master crafted bolt action rifles were built between 1963 through 1975 in Osprey Florida. The Imperial grade was their top of the line rifle in 1963. Built on a Mauser type action with high polish blue finish and no sights. The rakish Weatherby type stock is made of birdseye maple. It features basketweave-with-leafy-scroll checkering, a mid century modern roll over cheek piece with contrasting rosewood grip cap and forearm tip, and seven inlays, including a large stylized running ram on the right side similar to the Weatherby Gazelle in the 1962 catalog pattern 30. The bolt is jeweled. The barrel is engraved in a deep relief leaf pattern from breech out 10". The muzzle and both receiver bridges are also engraved. Pachamyr brown waffle pad with white and black spacers. Rifle has a Weatherby 3-9x scope with Buehler mounts and a sling. Comes with copy of a Winslow catalog. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all the original finish with minor handling marks. The stock is superb with minor impressions. Mechanically functional. Bore is bright. From the Robert C. Renneberg Collection
