Manufactured in 1959. Standard long wood carbine with hooded ramp front sight, replaced semi-buckhorn rear sight, and checkered metal butt plate. The frame has a satin finish with saddled and armed frontiersman on left side and the Winchester horse and rider logo on right side surrounded by antiqued hand cut bank note scrollwork. Bands and lever en suite. The highly grained walnut stock with custom hand checkering. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains virtually all of its custom applied finish and shows near new with some minor handling marks. and one small rub at breech. Mechanically fine. Bore is sharp. From the Robert C.
