Built in 1946. This is a standard post-War carbine with checkered steel butt plate, hooded ramp front sight, and a King buckhorn rear sight. Finish is blue with long walnut forearm. The frame is custom hand engraved with platinum deer on both sides surrounded by American bank note scroll and wooded scene on left side. There is engraving en suite extending 5 - 1/2" from breech as well as engraving on lever and both bands. CONDITION: Excellent as custom finished showing in almost new condition with light handling marks. Mechanically functional. Bore is bright. From the Robert C. Renneberg Collection
