Frame manufactured in 1910. The round barrel has two line Winchester barrel address with caliber and has a beveled muzzle, full length magazine tube, post front sight, filled rear slot, and a receiver peep sight. This is a unique takedown with unusual lever on left side of tube as pictured in Renneberg's book on the Model 1894, 2nd. edition. The left side of frame is stamped "Estill E. Brown". This cataloguer believes this is the maker but could find no information. The oil finish walnut stock features sharp checkering and blued steel carbine butt. CONDITION: Fine. Frame retains about 60% original blue blending patina while barrel and tube are soft patina. Barrel legends are crisp. Wood is excellent as more recently finished. Bore is bright and mechanically functional. Comes with Winchester FOB. From the Robert C. Renneberg Collection
