This petite replica expertly recreates the iconic Volcanic in a readily available chambering. The blued fluted style barrel is stamped on the top flat "NEW HAVEN CONN PATENT FEB. 14 1854". German silver half moon front sight and elevation adjustable rear. The coin finished receiver is engraved in the factory style with foliates. Lovely fiddleback walnut stock with engraved crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains nearly all of its blued finish with minor high edge silvering and scattered marks. Receiver has some handling marks. Stock also has scattered impressions. Crisp, bright bore. Action requires attention and does not fully cycle, binding before the lever reaches its full throw. A very neat addition to any collection.
