Manufactured in 1926. This is a standard pre-War saddle ring carbine with blue finish, round barrel, full length magazine tube, pinned blade base front sight, folding ladder rear sight, saddle ring, ad walnut stocks with metal carbine butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel, tube and front band retain nearly all their factory blue. Frame retains about 90% bright blue, thinning a bit at base and high edges with minor handling marks. Loading gate has majority of bright blue. Bolt retains nearly all its blue. Rear barrel band and butt plate turned patina. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal with minor handling marks. mechanically sound. Bore is bright. This is a very high condition 1892 carbine.
