Manufactured in 1932. Standard features include the octagon barrel, take down, Lyman 3W gold bead front sight, standard 32B rear sight, plain walnut stock with pistol grip, checkered steel buttplate, and the 11 groove flat bottom forearm. The left side of barrel sports the type 1 Winchester legend with type 1 legend on right side as well. Other early features include the tapped upper tang, smooth trigger, checkered hammer catch, flat crown, type 1 magazine tube collar, and no top ejector stop pinhole. No frame scope holes and not grooved. CONDITION: Excellent. There is a bit of wear at rear of barrel from slide, a hint of high edge wear and a few minor handling marks, solid 98% plus. Stock is excellent with some minor handling marks. Mechanically sound. Bore is bright. An extremely nice early all original 61
