Spectacular .410 bore CSMC Winchester Model 21 ejector gun with 26” barrels which was presented President George H.W. Bush. The gun is choked negative choke and improved cylinder. Length of pull of 14 - 1/4” to a checkered butt with fleur-de-lis and gold wire outline. English stock, gold plated single selectable mechanical trigger, auto-safety, hold open top lever, raised matted vent rib, single red front bead, vacant gold oval, beavertail forend, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the safety catch, “R” and “L” for barrel selection by the trigger, and serial number on the top strap. Jeweled standing face, breach face, ejectors, barrel flats, and lumps. Unique to Model 21 in American doubles, the barrels are a combination of dovetail and chopper lump styles. “PRESIDENT GEORGE H.W. BUSH” engraved on the top of left barrel and the underside of the right barrel. The gun is housed in brass cornered oak and leather maker’s case with walnut corners. Accessories, all in unused condition, include a key, snap caps, oil bottle, roll of cleaning cloth, mop, jag, and a wire brush. A Connecticut Shotgun manufacturing Company (CSMC) made Model 21 with 3” chambers. Engraved and signed by Thierry Duguet. All engraving on the gun is gold inlaid. Black leaf floral and rose engraving with ribbons and a bald eagle on each side. Additionally, the underside has the presidential seal and stars while the ball fences are adorned only with stars. A bald eagle head adorns the top lever. Blued action and furniture. Exhibition grade walnut stock with hand rubbed oil finish and an ebony forend tip. Ribbon and fleur-de-lis checkering on the grip and forend which is outlined with gold wire inlay. Carved panels on the forend and behind the action in addition to carved ribbons on the wrist. CONDITION: The gun remains as new and appears unfired. Top lever right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
