Rare and desirable DWM Borchardt C-93 pistol, there were only about 3,000 of these manufactured between Loewe and DWM. Developed by Hugo Borchardt, an American. He followed the same principle as the toggle lock system of the Maxim machine gun. This is an all matching numbers gun with 1 matching magazine. "(Crown) / B", "(Crown) / U" proofed on the left side of barrel and receiver. "SYSTEM BORCHARDT. PATENT. / DEUTSCHE WAFFEN - UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN / BERLIN" is on the right side of the receiver. with "D.R.P / No.75887" on the toggle. On the front grip strap it has a gold oval with"H. KREIGHOFF / SUHL" in it. CONDITION: This gun has been re-blued, and shows scattered light freckling. The front grip strap has no finish. Checkered grips with a border show a few slight handling marks. Checkering is sharp and crisp. Bore is dark with pitting.
