Dates to 1929. Standard carbine features blue finish, pinned blade front sight, Winchester ladder rear sight, saddle ring and stud, and walnut stock with blued carbine butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. The frame retains about 70% blue balance, flaked to patina, with bright blue on gate and bolt. Barrel and tube retain majority of the fine blue, a strong Winchester barrel legend and minor handling marks. Bands are a blue patina blend. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal with minor impressions. Mechanically sound. Bore is bright. This is a very clean .44.
