Per the included Cody letter, this gun shipped as a G2102 Duck Grade, made for stock, as a 12 gauge with 30" full choked barrels, 3" chambers, a pistol grip stock, Winchester recoil pad, and was received in warehouse September 10th, 1953, and shipped out September 15th. Winchester Model 21 Duck 12 ga ejector gun with “Winchester Proof Steel” 30” barrels. The gun is choked Full in both barrels and the barrels are also marked “FULL” and “FULL”. Length of pull of 14” to a Winchester red rubber recoil pad. Prince of Wales stock, mechanical single selective trigger, auto-safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the safety catch, “R” and “L” for barrel selection engraved by the trigger, hold open top lever, matted concave rib with a single front bead, checkered wrist, and a checkered beavertail forend. The barrels are a combination of dovetail and chopper lump styles. Serial numbers match on the action, barrels, forend iron, and forend iron wood. Underside of action marked “DUCK” ahead of the trigger guard. Circa 1952 gun with 3” chambers. Sculpted blued action and furniture. Walnut stock, with a wood extension, and forend with some figure. CONDITION: Very good overall. Pristine bores and bluing on barrels rates very good with some finish loss and evidence isolated areas of oxidation. The bluing on the action rates excellent. The checkering remains in excellent condition. The stock and forend show some scratches consistent with field use. The recoil pad has hardened with age and crumbled some at the toe. Top lever right of center, barrels on face, and ejectors in time.
