Manufactured in 1966. Less than 5% of pre-series 1970 Model 1911s were nickel plated. This one features the dual tone nickel finish. The period correct box has correct end label and has the original instructions, warranty card, original set of Colt wood grips and sports a set of bone panels. CONDITION: Excellent. There are minimal handling marks usually found on nickel guns. Bore is bright.
