Frame dates to 1954. It is believed that Winchester shipped 286 rifles in this caliber between 1952-54. Features a medium heavy barrel mounted with scope blocks on barrel and rear receiver bridge. The bolt has matching etched serial number. The Super Grade style walnut stock features a checkered pistol grip with steel cap, Monte Carlo comb, roll over cheek piece, Winchester solid rubber pad, black forearm tip, and Super Grade swivels. Floor plate is stamped Super Grade. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all its blue finish with a few handling marks on barrel, some handling and scuffs on floor plate. Stock is excellent, sharp checkering and some minor impressions and scuffs. Strong clean bore.
