Mono-bloc barrels with a fiber optic front sight on a matted low profile vent rib. Left side over chambers marked with Beretta's information and designation for a 30" 12 gauge with 3" chambers, right with manual warning, Beretta's importer information, and Excelsior steel designation. Partially ventilated mid rib, marked "STEELIUM PRO" towards rear. Italian nitro proofs for a 2021 proofed gun at a nominal 18.6 IBD. Beretta chokes, currently fit with Improved Modified and Modified. Burl walnut forearm with a scalloped nose and recessed finger grooves, with matted exterior iron and modified point pattern checkering about a Deely style latch release. Action with mixed matte and satin black finishes, with neon green model designations and Beretta information. Non-automatic safety with "S" ahead of slide, slide with a horizontal selector for barrel positions. Burl walnut stock with a deep pistol grip with right handed palm swell, two panels of point pattern checkering, and a red rubber recoil pad. Housed in a carbon fiber wrapped case with Launch Edition paperwork, and wallet with pair snapcaps, choke wrench, paperweight, Beretta stickers, and additional chokes: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet. With cloth slip and cardboard shipping container. The SL2 was designed to be a cutting edge clays gun, with several advancements to barrel composition, chokes, and stock geometry all designed to allow for more consistent hits; in Beretta's own words, it was designed as a "hypergun". CONDITION: Excellent, NOS or equivalent, with few superficial handling marks. Stocks excellent, commensurate, with some very minor marks. Mechanically fine, ejectors are a little soft but in time, bores are excellent with some firing residue, likely from proof. Case and accessories excellent.
