This style of box is pictured on page 36 in the book "One Hundred Years of Winchester Cartridge Boxes " by Giles and Shuey. They list this box as the last Winchester version dating to the 1920s. The pictured cartridge does not display the word Flat on bullet. There is no mention of the Model 1866. Two piece box, green cover, orange side labels with red W. CONDITION: Box contains full compliment of matching flat nose bullet with H stamp on base. The top label is mostly complete with usual edge chipping. The base has the orange stickers but the base is worn through in spots. The weight of cartridges will break through if not held correctly. Box is 50 count.
