The factory letter states that this revolver was part of an 18 gun shipment to Krakauer, Zork and Moye Company in El Paso, Texas on December 6, 1906 in standard .45, 4 - 3/4" barrel, blue finish. Matching numbers on frame, trigger guard and back strap. It is interesting to note that this border town dealership's sales records are available online with note to the fact they are not complete as records were confiscated by the US Government as they were investigating charges that this company was selling guns to Mexico during the revolution. When searching the existing records, the last recorded serial number for a .45 caliber 4 - 3/4" Bisley is number 282211 sold in September of 1906. Probable that the records for this gun were seized. CONDITION: Fine. Frame still retains flashes of color with balance patterned out. Barrel retains 85% bright blue with sharp legends. Cylinder retains generous blue, some thinning and high edge wear. Back strap shows blue with thinning. Strong blue on guard. Screws are true. Grips are excellent with etched matching number. Retains four distinct clicks. Bore is bright. Great Texas gun from tumultuous period in El Paso history.

CORRECTION: The trigger guard is misshapen and appears to have been dented.
