The factory letter states that this rifle was shipped on April 3rd, 1890 with a special order 26" octagon barrel in .32-20. Features a German silver dovetailed front sight, a Winchester flat top rear sight, blue finish, case color lever, hammer and buttplate. The walnut stock features a rifle buttplate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. The frame retains at least 97% of its bright factory blue with some high edge wear and minor handling marks. The gate retains majority of blue as does the dust cover. The barrel and tube blue are just as nice with minor handling. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with minor impressions and bruises. Flashes of case color remain. Mechanically sound. Bore is bright. This rifle did not see much use.
