Bradley style white composite front sight with a diminutive mid bead on a matted vent rib, marked with Browning designations for a Belgian 12 gauge Superposed made of Special Steel with 2 - 3/4"chambers on either side of top barrel, towards chambers. Marked with "*" and "**" choke codes for Full over Modified. Nicely figured round nosed Browning sliding forearm with point pattern checkering about a Deely style latch release. Engraved with scrollwork and floral elements on exterior iron. Matching serial number observed on left side of bottom chamber. Action with low relief golden mallards in a marsh on either side of the action, with gold linework about the vignettes, while the bottom depicts two more mallards with a ribbon that reads "AMERICAN MALLARD 100 of 500 ANAS PLATYANYNCHOS". Vignettes are supported by acanthus scrollwork. Gold washed single selective trigger protected by a long tang trigger guard with a golden mallard. Automatic safety with "S" ahead of slide, "O" and "U" abutting for barrel selector positions. Walnut stock with round knob pistol grip, sidepanels, modified point pattern checkering about the wrist with arrowhead intrusions, Decelerator recoil pad, and three added sections of velcro for used to attach a Convert-A-Stock pad. CONDITION: Excellent, barrels with the vast majority of their blue with some scattered handling marks and rubs, primarily where forearm reciprocates along barrels. Action excellent with some surface discoloration to edges, engraving crisp. Stocks with some handling marks and impressions, two tight cracks at the wrist on either side of the lower tang. Mechanically fine, shotgun is notably tight, especially at forearm latch and top lever, which is far over to the right. Bores excellent with some mild frosting. Ejectors a little soft but in time.
