Circa 1993. K3 code for a 20 gauge Citori 425. With three sets of barrels, all marked "**$" for Skeet chokes in all six tubes. Vent ribs fit with white composite mid and Bradley style front beads, 28 and .410 barrels fit with wooden spacers to allow forearm to fit correctly. With legends for manufacture in Japan, barrel and chamber length, "SPECIAL STEEL" and gauges. Matching serial numbers on lower left chambers. Round nose forearm with recessed finger grooves and point pattern checkering about a Deely latch release, with light scrollwork on exterior. Interior iron with matching serial number, also stamped in wood. Forearm with laser engraving of a pair of partridge on left side and a pair of quail on right, both sets flying through a meadow scene. Support by scrollwork on a stippled ground and floral elements. Gold washed and checkered trigger with a non-automatic safety, "S" inlaid ahead of slide, "O" and "U" abutting for barrel selector positions. Feather crotch walnut stock with sidepanels, a pistol grip, and point pattern checkering with mullered borders about the wrist. Browning waffle recoil pad. Case with brown faux fur, slots for all three barrels, paperwork, forearm, and gun. CONDITION: Excellent, barrels with virtually all of their bluing, some proofs and legends still with distension from application of stamp, some thinning to muzzles and where forearm makes contact. 20 gauge rib with a dent approximately 10" from breech. Forearm excellent with some scattered handling makrs and impressions. Action excellent with some superficial handing marks. Butt very good with some handling marks and impressions, heavier on right side, with one sizable strike approximately 1/8" x 3/8". Bores very good with some firing residue. Ejectors are soft and a little out of time. Case fine.
