Matted vent rib with steel bead front sight. Legends for manufacture in Belgium and typical Browning information on left side. Right side with designations for a Browning Superposed in .410 with Special Steel barrels and 3" chambers. Lightly engraved with florals over the breech. Left side of chambers with "*" and "**" choke designations for Full over Modified. Round nose forearm with Browning sliding latch release, engraved on exterior iron with scrollwork with hatch shading. Action with classic Diana grade scenes of pheasant in a forestested scene on left, mallards on the water on the right, and partridge on the bottom. Scenes are supported by arabesque scrollwork, and signed "M. Bodson" on left side at the bottom of the pheasant scene. Non-automatic safety with gold "S" ahead of slide, "U" and "O" on either side for barrel selector position. Single selective gold washed trigger protected by a long tang trigger guard with vignette of a pair of rabbits on the bow, with scroll en suite. Walnut stock with modified point pattern checkering about the wrist, flat knob pistol grip, side panels, and a Browning black composite buttplate. CONDITION: Retains virtually all of the factory finishes throughout, with some very minor marks and rubs from handling and manufacture. Stocks with a few minor handling mark, and some surface level spotting to top tang. Mechanically fine, ejectors are strong and in time, bores are excellent, bright, smooth, and shiny.
