All 4 barrel sets with classic, hybrid dovetailed chopper lumps and fit with red Bradley style front beads and steel mid beads on solid matted concave ribs. Open panel at rear of rib reads "Custom built by Winchester". Underside of .410 barrels numbered 4 on loop with Winchester proof steel markings, full and mod choke designations, serial number, and "410 BORE 3 IN. CHAM." 28 bore set numbered 3 on loop with proofs for Winchester proof steel, Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes, barrel flats with intertwined "PW" proof, serial number, and legends for a 2 - 3/4" chambered 28 gauge. Both sets of 20 gauge barrels have no number on their loops, are marked for Winchester proofs and appropriate designations on barrel flats, 1 marked for Improved Modified and Modified and the other WS1 and WS2. 3 beavertail forearms numbered 3 and 4 on interior iron with matching serial numbers stamped on interior wood and interior iron. Of a nicely figured walnut with ebony tip inserts and point pattern checkering about a rolling release. Classic boxlock action with Winchester patents, model designation, and address, finished in a satin blue with engine turned flats. Gold washed single selective mechanical trigger mounted with a push-button selector to bow. With non-automatic safety with safe inlayed ahead of slide. Fabulous high grade feather crotch walnut stock with 2 panels of point pattern checkering about the wrist. Pistol grip with Winchester Repeating Arms Co. hard rubber grip cap, and checkered butt with vacant border. Housed in a Nizzoli case with maroon lining, Winchester model 21 trade label in lid, and containing accessories comprising: svelyt cloth, 2 piece cleaning rod, pair wallets each with mop, jag, and brush, square oil bottle, pair 20 gauge snap caps, pair 28 gauge snap caps, and pair .410 snap caps. CONDITION: 20 gauge barrels with virtually all of a top quality rebluing with some scattered handling marks and some mottling. Legends somewhat softened. One of the 20 gauge barrels has had right tube opened to positive choke. 28 Gauge barrels appear to be of modern make with virtually all of their bluing, some thinning to sharp edges, and a little silvering where forearm contacts barrels. .410 barrels also of modern manufacture commensurate. Action retains virtually all of its newer bluing with some superficial handling marks and mottling. Right side of .410 beaver tail missing a small chip and a longer sliver approximately 1 - 1/2". Right side of 28 gauge beavertail missing an approximately 3/4" splinter. .410 ejectors are strong and in time. 28 gauge ejectors are in time, but soft. Right side of 20 gauge beavertail with 2 small chips. 20 gauge ejectors in time, but soft. Buttstock excellent, with some scattered handling marks and impressions, and a heavy area of scratches on right side of comb that do not go through the varnish. Mechanically fine. Bores very good, with some firing residue throughout. Case excellent, as newly manufactured with some handling marks, scuffs, and detritus.
