Circa 1989 per AU date code. Chopper lump barrels with a diminutive bead front sight on a solid tapering matte rib, engraved with "ARMI Flli BERTUZZI ITALY" over right tube and "BINGHAM LTD ATLANTA GA USA" over left. Barrel flats with Italian nitro proofs for a .410 with a nominal 10.6 IBD with 76mm chambers (3") proved at 1,100 KG. Svelte splinter forearm with point pattern checkering, a reinforced Anson plunger release, a central Bertuzzi heraldic device, teardrop escutcheon, and floral scrollwork on exterior iron. Small sized action with flared recoil shields, action flats with Italian nitro proofs, serial number, Bertuzzi proof, and disc set strikers. Locks are engraved by Cremini with bulino scenes of a ducks over a marsh on a left, woodcock over the same marsh on right, underside with a fox carrying away one of the ducks. Cremini's "C. Cremini" signature appears in all three scenes. Game scenes are engraved by nicely cut small scroll, with floral dressed hinge pins. Flared recoil shields engraved en suite. Double triggers protected a right hand rolled trigger guard with "SJH" inlaid in gold in an open vignette with floral supporting scroll en suite. Non-automatic safety with "SICURA" engraved ahead of slide with floral and scrollwork en suite. Well figured walnut stock with teardrops, point pattern checkering about the straight wrist, and a checkered butt. CONDITION: Barrels with the vast majority of their bluing with some scattered handling marks and rubs, some thinning to muzzles and silvering where forearm contacts barrels. Action excellent with crisp, well cut engraving. Stocks very good with some handling marks and impressions, heavier about the butt, with some thinning to edges of checkering. Mechanically fine, ejectors are strong and in time, bores very good with some striations ahead of chambers. A gorgeous upland option.
