Circa 1926 and 1928. Both revolvers have case colored frames, blued balance, and are fit with 7 - 1/2" barrels, blade front sights, kidney ejector rod housing heads, notch frame rear sights, and ivory grips with checkered panels on both sides. Both guns have been upgraded with approximately D class engraving of acanthus scrollwork with gold wire bands at muzzle and rear of barrel, rear of cylinder, outlining the frame, and outlining the cylinder flutes. There are starburst florals incorporated on the frame above the axle pin. The left side of the recoil shields have gold relief steers and the loading gates have what appear to be stylized railroad tracks. The trigger guards are inlaid "KFC" on gun (A) and "GSC II" on gun (B), meanings unknown. Engraving is signed by Alvin White, with his gold "AA WHITE / ENG." poincon on the frames of both guns, under the grips. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining the vast majority of the blue finish on the barrels with some splotches visible, primarily in the open areas of the engraving. Frame with excellent case colors, thinning to sharp edges. Straps excellent. Grips excellent with some handling marks. Mechanically fine, bores excellent with strong, bright rifling and some frosting in the grooves. An outstanding example of Alvin Whites work.
