Barrel set (A) with mono-blocs and white Bradley style bead front sight with diminutive mid bead on a vent rib, with a gold raised "I" at rear of rib. Professionally ported with 8 ports at muzzles. Barrels with "XX7" date code for 1971, and Italian nitro proofs for a nitro proofed 12 gauge with 2- 3/4" chambers and a nominal 18.4 IBD at 1,450KG. Round nose forearm with recessed finger grooves and point pattern checkering about a Deely style latch release. Exterior iron engraved with acanthus scrollwork and a bouquet of roses, with matching serial numbers on both interior iron and wood. Barrel set (B) Mono-blocs and a white Bradley style bead front sight and diminutive bead midbead on a matted vent rib, with a raised gold "II" at rear of rib. Threaded for Briley choke tubes, and marked with "XX7" and Italian nitro proofs for a 12 gauge with 2 - 3/4" chambers and a nominal 18.4 IBD in both barrels, proofed at 1400 KG. Original choke measurements were one star and two stars, for Full over Improved Modified, now supplanted by tubes. Coin finished action with Italian nitro proofs, serial number, "SHO" model designation, and gold inlaid "MAP" on wings of action. Sidelocks engraved with English style rose and scrollwork, fences relief carved with florals on a stippled ground. Single inertia driven trigger, non-automatic safety with "SICURA" engraved ahead of slide. Nicely figured walnut stock with a deep pistol grip, two panels of point pattern checkering about the wrist, and a replacement Pachmayr white line recoil pad. Housed in a tabbed leather case compartmentalized for gun and accessories comprising choke wrench, and five Briley chokes: Modified, Light Modified, Extra Full, Light Full, and Improved Cylinder, and paperwork of Perazzi's original manufacturing specifications. Given the original specifications, the buttstock is a replacement. CONDITION: Barrels both with the vast majority of their original blue finishes, with some handling marks and rubs throughout from handling and use, some silvering where forearm touches barrels, heavier on set (A) than (B). Forearm with some handling marks and scuffs, and a few spots of crazing on left side. Action excellent, engraving bright and shiny, with some discoloration in deep recesses. Stock very good with some handling marks and scuffs, pad pliable. Mechanically fine, bores very good with some firing residue, ejectors are strong but a little out of time, top fires first. Case good with handling marks and scrapes from age, lining with some rubs, with barrel compartments rubbed through to wood.
